Sorry about last Friday, but hopefully a double comic book review can make up for it!
Because this is my website and I can do what I want I’m going to do my scoring now. I give Chapters 7 and 8 of Batman: The Adventures Continue a solid 4 out of 5.

Anyways, you should definitely read this series for strictly nostalgic purposes. Also, I’m a huge fan of not insulting the reader and just skipping straight to the action. We don’t need a monologue of backstories and history.
Chapters 7 & 8 let the reader see a cadre of characters so I won’t ruin the story. I will say that there are a few things that don’t quite work.
I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve grown up a bit but the action is very much looney tunes. It’s not bad it just may be an artistic choice? Or it might be the action is off because the pacing is kinda weird?
I think if you have a young one in your life who you want to introduce to comic books then this is your series. This is one of those one-size-fits-all type of comic books and there’s value in that.
Be sure to check out this comic book series its fun and it looks like they’re going to cover all the big baddies. I can’t wait to see what our caped crusader and boy wonder get into next week.
